Viewers across Britain can now vote for their favourite TV shows in the 25th National Television Awards.

The contenders for the National Television Awards 2020 have been revealed and voting has officially opened. 

The great British public can choose their most beloved TV stars and shows ahead of the special silver anniversary NTAs show with its brand new host David Walliams.

The results will be revealed on 28th January 2020 at The O2 London and aired live on ITV.

Can global phenomenon Phoebe Waller-Bridge make it a triumphant homecoming with Fleabag nominated for Comedy and Killing Eve for Drama?  

Also in the Comedy category are Derry Girls and Ricky Gervais’ After Life (pictured).

Elsewhere RuPaul’s Drag Race UK makes the list of shows vying for The Bruce Forsyth Entertainment Award following its debut on BBC Three. The other contenders are The X Factor: Celebrity and Britain’s Got Talent: The Champion and Strictly Come Dancing?

This year’s longlists also demonstrate the growth of streaming services, with record numbers of nominations for Amazon Prime (Good Omens, The Grand Tour, The Boys) and its rival streaming giant Netflix (Sex Education, Stranger Things, Black Mirror : Bandersnatch, The Sinner).

HOW TO VOTE

Voting is easy – you can vote for your TV favourites online at nationaltvawards.com OR simply call 0844 646 2060 for a voting form. 

Calls cost 5p plus your network access charge. Voting closes at 11pm Friday 25th October 2019. There will be a final round of voting when the shortlist is revealed in January.
