Edinburgh Fringe Review 2019 – London Hughes: To Catch a D*ck, Pleasance Courtyard

OnlyFans Launches £100,000 Comedy Creative Fund

London Hughes' To Catch a D*ck might not be the first Edinburgh Comedy Award-nominated show to offer tips on cunnilingus, but if there have been others in the past none spring immediately to mind. This is a bold, no-holds-barred, in-you-face hour that will help to make Hughes a big mainstream star. More ITV than BBC4, that's for sure.

Her show tells the story of how she spent her adult life up to the age of thirty chasing d*ck and usually catching it. First in Brighton and then in London. Along the way she has also had some jobs of work as well as blow jobs. There's a lot of blow job talk in this fast-paced show that goes at a fair old lick from the very start and never lets up.

She has certainly had an interesting broadcasting CV so far. Hughes decided that she wanted be be a presenter at an early age and has had presenting roles on both Babestation (dressed) and CBBC (obviously dressed) and there can't be many people that can say that. Somehow she contrived to get the boot from Babestation by attracting too many foot fetishists during daytime hours.

As she explains, she likes to give everything she does 100% - that applied to her porn channel job and it applies to this show. Hughes never stops moving - her face constantly animated and her body bumping, grinding and throwing comic shapes. If we have another national power cut like the one earlier this year we should plug Hughes into the National Grid. She packs enough electricity to light the country up.

London Hughes: To Catch a D*ck, Pleasance Courtyard until August 25. Tickets here.
