The Football Ramble, the critically acclaimed football podcast, has announced a brand-new format of daily shows. Starting today, Football Ramble Daily will include their current regular shows, The Ramble and The Preview Show, boasting over 70 million downloads, alongside 4 new additions to their podcast feed.
The new format’s additions include the Ramble’s sister podcast, On the Continent, which looks at the biggest headlines from European football, and Ramble Meets… a now-weekly feature airing personal and intimate conversations with the great and good of football.
Jules & Andy sees football presenters and journalists Jules Breach and Andy Brassell look into some of the dominant stories across football while The Blizzard, a continuation of The Blizzard’s ‘Greatest Games’ podcast series, recounts great stories from the annals of football history, served up alongside some of the biggest names in the business.
Of the new daily format, Ramble host Luke Moore said: ‘It’s going to be great to give our loyal listeners a lot more football content to enjoy to this season. The Football Ramble podcast was founded in late 2007 around a kitchen table by friends Marcus Spellerand Luke Moore. With comedian Jim Campbell and Absolute Radio DJ Pete Donaldson joining them, by 2009 the fortnightly show was increased to a weekly episode and reached number 1 in the iTunes sports podcast chart. The show cut through as a genuinely refreshing voice in football and since its inception has established itself as the largest independent football brand in the UK.
