News: Comedy Central UK To Air Cult Comedians & Music Show Amusical
Comedy Central UK has confirmed the date that it will air a one-off special of the musical spectacular Amusical, bringing the cult live show to the screen for the first time.  
 
The 22-minute special will air on Comedy Central UK on Monday, August 26 at 9pm, and will feature comedians including Frank Skinner, London Hughes, Tom Allen and Suzi Ruffell performing their distinctive takes on their favourite songs from classic West End musicals. Skinner wore a dress and a wig and sang a song from Annie (pictured with Adams and Pritchard-McLean)
 
The show is hosted by the creators and stars of the live stage version, comedians Kiri Pritchard-McLean and Jayde Adams, alongside co-creator Dave Cribb (all pictured) as musical director with his live band, The Quavers.

Amusical has been a live stage hit since it was launched at Backyard Comedy Club in East London in March 2017, playing in front of a live audiences around the UK and Ireland. There have also been sell out shows at the Edinburgh Fringe for the last two years. 

The one-off special was recorded at the Hackney Empire by Burning Bright Productions for Comedy Central.
