Bridget Christie has picked up yet another award nomination today. The Foster’s Award winner, Sky Arts South Bank Award winner and double Chortle Award winner has picked up a nomination this lunchtime from the Radio Academy Awards for her Radio 4 series, Mind The Gap.

Christie is nominated for Best Comedy alongside The Blagger’s Guide To Dr Who (R2), Here Be Dragons (BBC Wales), Secret World (R4) and John Finnemore’s Souvenir Programme (R4).

In other categories Christian O'Connell, who has recently been trying his hand at stand-up, and Graham Norton are up for Music Radio Personality against Gem 106's Sam and Amy, Radliffe & Maconie and Chris Evans. Elsewhere Frank Skinner is nominated for Best Speech Programme for his Absolute Radio show
