News: PR Agency Opens Manchester Branch

Award-winning entertainment PR agency Multitude Media is to open an office in Manchester. The move, which will see the launch of Multitude Media North, is to build on the increased presence of the media industry and entertainment sector in the North and beyond.

The company offers PR services across four divisions – film, live, personal and television publicity - and is set to expand its offering to clients based in the North of England and Scotland.

The Northern team will be headed up by Director Charlotte Prentice, reporting in to Managing Director Will Wood and TV Publicity Manager, Amanda Hearn, and working in tandem with the London-based team. Multitude Media North will be based out of Colony Jactin House in Manchester.

Multitude Media Managing Director Will Wood said: “I’m from the North, set up the company in Manchester and have always had one eye on how we expand what we do outside of London. Everybody can see the exciting changes happening across the industry and building a presence in the North will enable us to work with new companies, as well as strengthening the services we can offer existing clients.”

Multitude Media North Director Charlotte Prentice said: “I am thrilled to have joined Multitude Media at such an exciting time of expansion and, not only that, to be able to open our doors in Manchester. The industry in the North is growing at such a vast rate and it only feels right for us to have a base there.”

Multitude Media was established by Will Wood in 2012 and the company has retained strong links in the North and Scotland, not least in representing several TV production companies who have increased their presence outside of London. Charlotte Prentice has almost a decade of experience and a background in live entertainment publicity, film and home entertainment projects.

Notable recent work by the company includes:

  • The television division represents a growing number of production companies, including Label1 Productions, Me + You Productions, Shiver and Twenty Twenty. Recent TV campaigns include the BBC’s Fleabag (Series 1 and most recently Series 2), First Dates (C4), Cheat (ITV), Hospital (BBC Two), The Choir: Our School by the Tower (BBC Two), Man Like Mobeen (BBC Three) and Back To Life (BBC Three)
  • The film division is handling the home entertainment campaigns for Stan & Ollie, Vice and Green Book, as well as working on forthcoming Timothy Spall and Vanessa Redgrave feature Mrs Lowry & Son
  • The live division’s recent work includes tour publicity for comedians Jack Whitehall, Joe Lycett, Dylan Moran, Sara Pascoe, Guz Khan & Mo Amer and Harry Hill
  • The personal publicity team works with a growing number of clients ranging from Academy Award winning talent to the rising stars of stage and screen

Multitude Media North will begin operating from June 2019.
