Craig Ferguson, the Grammy-nominated, Emmy and Peabody Award-winning star of CBS’ The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson and Sirius XM’s The Craig Ferguson Show, brings the wildly successful Hobo Fabulous to the Gilded Balloon for its European premiere – marking Ferguson’s first UK stand-up show in over 25 years. Featuring 100% all-new material, for one night only at the Edinburgh Playhouse – 8pm, Sunday 11th August.

Craig Ferguson is an actor, writer and comedian, who as the host of CBS' The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson set all-time viewer records during his ten-year run, which earned him a Primetime Emmy nomination and the 2009 Peabody Award for Excellence in Broadcasting for his interview with Archbishop Desmond Tutu. Ferguson was also the host of the syndicated game show Celebrity Name Game. He was awarded the Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Game Show Host – two years in a row.  

He is also an acclaimed stand-up comedian who has bagged two Grammy nominations for Best Comedy Album – thanks to his original stand-up recordings, Craig Ferguson: Just Being Honest and I'm Here to Help. He has performed to sold-out theatres all over the USA, including New York City's Carnegie Hall and Radio City Music Hall. He also received a Grammy nomination for Best Spoken Word for his New York Times best-selling memoir American On Purpose.  His new book, Riding the Elephant: A Memoir of Altercations, Observations and Humiliations, will be released on May 7th in both the US and the UK – by Blue Rider/Penguin.
