A trailer has been released for the next new edition of Charlie Brooker's Black Mirror. The new episode is called Bandersnatch and is set in 1984 in the world of video games. A young programmer begins to question reality as he adapts a sprawling fantasy novel into a video game and soon faces a mind-mangling challenge. It stars People Just Do Nothing's Asim Chaudhry, Will Poulter (We're The Millers) and Fionn Whitehead (Dunkirk).
It is an era and a world that Brooker should know well. As well as being an avid game player in the 1980s his early jobs included writing about games for PC Zone magazine.
Bandersnatch will be released on December 28.
