James "Murr" Murray of pranksters Impractical Jokers is coming over to the UK later this year for shows in his own right.

The gigs will tie in with the publication of his book Awakened and will include a book reading, Q&A, lots of dancing, singing and more.

Awakened is a futuristic science fiction/horror/thriller novel about what happens when a New York subway train pulls in to the station on its inaugural run and all the cars are empty and their interiors are drenched in blood. Who, or what, killed everyone? It has reportedly already been optioned for developmemt by IDW Entertainment.

Murray will be appearng in London, Newcastle, Manchester and Glasgow between September 2 and September 5.
