Comedy Central has today announced that a three day Stand Up and Experiential festival will take place at Southampton’s Hoglands Park on October 5th, 6th and 7th with Jimmy Carr, Russell Howard and Katherine Ryan set to headline across the weekend.

The festival line-up is packed full with some of the biggest names in comedy, with Rob Delaney, Rob Beckett, Desiree Burch, Chris Ramsey, Joel Dommett, Nish Kumar, Iain Stirling, Luisa Omielan, Russell Kane, Dane Baptiste, Mo Gilligan, Phil Wang, Suzi Ruffell, Reginald D Hunter, Doc Brown and winner of this year’s Britain’s Got Talent ‘Lost Voice Guy’ (plus many more) all set to perform across two live stages at the 3-day event.

Comedy Central is also bringing some of its biggest shows to life, giving visitors the chance to watch live versions of hit TV shows Your Face Or Mine, Roast Battle and Drunk History.

If that wasn’t enough there will also be a Comedy Central themed experiential area, including iconic comedy attractions from South Park and Joel and Nish Vs The World. Those ticket holders who are brave enough can also step into the world of Takeshi’s Castle and take on the ultimate inflatable obstacle course - one of the biggest in the world!

Visitors will also be able to watch some of their favourite comedians belt out classic musical hits in live stage show ‘AMusical’, and Drag Super Group ‘Denim’ will also host an alternative all day party at the festival.

The event will also feature Comedy Central-themed food concessions and a whole host of other activities for ticket holders to enjoy.

Jill Offman, EVP, Managing Director Comedy Central said “We are always looking for new ways to connect with our loyal audiences, so it only made sense for Comedy Central to launch one of the biggest Comedy festivals the UK has ever seen.  We will be offering all our favourite stand up acts as well as live versions of our best shows including Your Face or Mine and Drunk History along with a chance to bounce on Takeshi’s Castle, the world’s largest inflatable TV pop-up!”
