After the Britain's Got Talent final Robert White, who came second to Lost Voice Guy, did not hug David Walliams and one paper seemed to imply that this was some kind of breach of social protocol.
White, who has Asperger's Syndrome, tweeted an explanataion. "Hi @TheSun thanks for the nice things you said, but I didn't snub @davidwalliams I just didn't notice, and I would have loved a hug. You know social awareness and autism and that stuff. No hard feelings though, I love your paper! It's so absorbent and flushes really well :-)"
And here is a picture that Robert White has posted on Twitter just to confirm that they are the best of friends.
White has also clarified his career plans after saying on the show that he was going to go into teaching. "'m not leaving comedy to become a teacher (as per my plan last year) !!! Some people got it was a joke, but some didn't. That would be ridiculous !!! Now I'm leaving comedy to become an old person....sometime far in the future when I'm old. #bgt#bgt2018"
