News: Julia Louis-Dreyfus Posts Post-Op Picture On Social Media

Seinfeld/Veep star Julia Louis-Dreyfus has posted the first post-operation picture of herself on social media following her treatment for breast cancer.

Above the picture in which she was smiling defiantly, she tweeted: "Hoorah! Great doctors, great results, feeling happy and ready to rock after surgery. Hey cancer, “Fuck you!” Here’s my first post op photo."

The post prompted an outpouring of support and love for the star. Jason Alexander, who played George Costanza in Seinfeld tweeted: "Congrats Jules! What a great Valentine message. Continued health and so much happiness."

Actor Ed Asner tweeted: "Keep it up. We need you here."

Elle Degeneres tweeted: "Absolutely gorgeous."

The positive news has come in the same week as the rumours that there might be a revival of Seinfeld, one of the most popular sitcoms of all time in which Louis-Dreyfus played Elaine. Speaking on Ellen DeGeneres’ talk show to plug his Netflix series Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee Jerry Seinfeld repsonded to the question of more episodes by saying: “It’s possible.”
