News: UK Dates For Russell Peters

Canadian stand-up superstar Russell Peters is coming to the UK for a series of arena shows later this year as part of his Deported World Tour.

He plays Birmingham Arena on April 24, SSE Arena Wembley on April 26 and Leeds First Direct Arena on April 28.

"After five sold-out shows at the O2 Arena over the past several years, I'm excited about playing The SSE, Wembley for the first time," says Peters. "It’s been at least ten years since I played Leeds, so it’ll be great to get back there and to return to my Brummie fans as well.”

This show will feature all new material including plenty of Russell’s own signature interactions with the audience. Peters says, “I love getting to know my audience. It’s collaboration between us. I’ve been building the new act in clubs across the States over the past year and I’m very happy with it.”

Russell Peters returns to live touring after taking time off to film his Netflix series The Indian Detective. The Indian Detective also stars Anupam Kher (The Big Sick, Silver Linings Playbook), William Shatner (Star Trek), Christina Cole (Suits, Casino Royale) and Mishqah Parthiephal (Keeping Up with the Kandasamys).

Peters has also appeared in the yet to be released films, The Clapper with Ed Helms, Amanda Seyfried and Tracy Morgan as well as Supercon with Ryan Kwanten and John Malkovich, andPublic Schooled with Judy Greer.

The Deported World Tour kicks off in Australia and New Zealand in February 2018 and will see Russell travel around the world with shows well into 2019. His last tour travelled to over 26 countries with over 200 performances and more than 300,000 fans in attendance.

Tickets go on general sale on Friday, January 19 at 9am here.
