Writer and broadcaster Danny Baker has tweeted the planned transmission date of the second series of his sitcom Cradle To Grave.

Baker posted: "Happy to report that series 2 of Cradle To Grave returns to your screens on Monday, December 11th." This date has not been confirmed by the BBC, however, and last June Baker did tweet this: "Series 2 of Cradle To Grave begins this Friday at 9. #IsWhatICantWaitToTweetOneDay" . Hopefully this announcement is the one he has been waiting to tweet.

The series stars Peter Kay as Baker's dad Fred aka Spud, Lucy Speed as his mum Bet and Laurie Kynaston as the young Danny.
