News: All Star Alternative Comedy Play On Ice Gets Green Light

A night of genre-pushing comedy at Alexandra Palace Ice Rink has been confirmed.

Tony Law and Friends in the Battle for Icetopia is a comedy play on ice written and directed by Adam Larter of Weirdos Comedy, starring cult-comedy hero Tony Law. Produced by Heroes of Fringe (Bob Slayer) and Alex Hardy and in association with Laugh out London.

The Battle for Icetopia is a scripted play all performed on ice, with music, dancing and silliness from the finest comedy talent around.

Following the show there will be a special Ice Disco to skate with the cast and crew. Separate ticket required.

Tony is an experienced ice-skater having played much ice-hockey in Canada where he grew up; the rest of the cast have “varying” skills of ice-skating.

The show:

In the battle for Icetopia Tony and a cast of fantastic comic talents, skate, sing and goof their way through a dystopian future of love, war and ice. This is a not-to-be-missed comedy spectacular for fans of ambitious comedy or for anyone who appreciates going against common-sense.
