BAFTA-winning stand-up Iain Stirling, the voice of Love Island, has sold out his entire run ahead of the Edinburgh Fringe officially opening. Extra dates have just been added at the Pleasance Grand on Friday 11th and Saturday 12th August at 11.15pm. Stirling is one of three comedians to have sold-out before kicking off, alongside Frankie Boyle and Sara Pascoe.
His new hour U OK HUN? X explores dinner party etiquette, feminism and the pressures on a generation brought up in a world of instant gratification. Following the Fringe, Iain is set to embark on a 30-date tour from the 1st February to the 7th April 2018, which includes a date at London’s Leicester Square Theatre on Friday 23rd February.
This summer, Stirling has enjoyed acclaim for writing and voicing ITV2’s hit National Television Award and Broadcast Award nominated series Love Island. He was also on our screens hosting CelebAbility, a brand-new physical comedy show on ITV2 which saw celebrities and members of the public go head-to-head in rounds of games.
Stirling has previously appeared on TV shows including Virtually Famous (E4), Drunk History and Russell Howard’s Stand Up Central (both Comedy Central), Russell Howard’s Good News and Sweat the Small Stuff (both BBC Three) and Fake Reaction and Safe Word (both ITV2).
