News: RSC for Jenny Eclair

Comedian Jenny Eclair is to perform her latest acclaimed show, How to Be a Middle Aged Woman (Without Going Insane), at the prestigious Royal Shakespeare Theatre in Stratford-Upon-Avon.

The one-off gig takes place on October 8.

Tackling questions such as ‘Is swearing better than crying?’ ‘HRT or boxercise? – you decide’, Jenny takes to the stage to explore the ageing process and its myths: Why are so many young people idiots? Is Chardonnay medicinal? And how many episodes of ‘Bake Off’ does it take to lower your blood pressure?

The special show is part of the RSC’s Live at the RSC strand, which seeks to offer audiences the best in new music and comedy. Past events have seen the likes of Al Murray, Rufus Wainwright, John Grant, Gaz Coombes and Russell Kane all taking to the RSC’s stages.
