News: Dawn French Returns for More Little Big Shots

ITV has commissioned a second series of Little Big Shots, the entertainment show that shines the spotlight on some of the world’s most talented children, hosted by Dawn French.

Based on the hit US format, and with no prizes at stake, no winners or losers and no competition, Little Big Shots is a showcase for 4 to 13 year olds to take to the stage and show that you don’t have to be a grown-up to be a star performer. Series 1 saw talents that ranged from classical music masters and a miniature chef to a ventriloquist and a magician and Britain’s youngest shepherd and his sheep

Dawn French said: “I absolutely loved filming the first series and cannot wait to get started on the second. It’s the show where I get to hang out with incredibly talented children from all over the world, making new friends on the sofa each week. I will never forget Balang from the Philippines, who had me in fits of giggles while teaching me a move or two, or Thomas who sang David Bowie’s Space Oddity so beautifully! In our crazy upside down world, it is great to make a show that is just so positive.”

Peter Davey, Head of Entertainment, ITV said: “This is such a great format and Dawn is the perfect host. I’m looking forward to seeing what extraordinary talents will be unveiled on the next instalment.”
