Australian MP Graham Perrett has explained how he injured his face while watching political comedy Veep.

Perrett was watching the Washington-based comedy when he choked on some sushi that he was eating, fell against the kitchen cabinet and knocked himself out. He ended up with a black eye and had to have three stitches in his cheek.

The MP told presenter Emma Barnett what happened while being interviewed on Radio 5.
