My5 TV, the free to air channel based on the Channel 5 on-demand service, has announced its first foray into original programming with Comedy Bigmouths from Polymath Media.

The six episode series will consist of topical stand-up comedy and sketches filmed in front of a live studio audience. The show will be hosted by award-winning comedy star Ian Stone, who will be joined by comedians Zoe Lyons (pictured), Geoff Norcott, Ian Moore and Jo Caulfield. Well-known guest comedians will also make an appearance, including Ross Noble, Russell Kane and Clive Anderson.

Comedy Bigmouths will be filmed in the week of transmission. Topics will be based on the talking points of the moment, but will feature an over-arching subject running through the show,  challenging opinions during the audience-driven segments.
