News: Fake News Show To Be Made For Channel 4

Hat Trick Productions, the makers of Have I Got News For You, is to make a new comedy quiz show based around the idea of fake news.

Is a rocket launched into space by the Nazis in 1944 really about to hit the UK?  Was a monkey in France really tasered after a chocolate-fuelled bender?  Is Donald Trump really going to be the next President of America?

The Fake News Show will be dissecting the outlandish headlines, wild lies, dodgy Photoshops and all-too-believable viral clips that have pushed post-truth to the front pages.  At a time when world events are increasingly stranger than fiction, and no one knows who or what to believe, our comedians and celebrity guests might just be the only people you can trust to speak the truth.  (Or are they?!).

A one-off pilot is to be filmed in London next month. The line-up is yet to be confirmed but free tickets for the filming can be applied for here.
