News: Stand-up Gigs and Audio Release For Daniel Kitson

Daniel Kitson is doing two major benefit gigs next month at the Union Chapel in London and has also announced via his mailing list that he is releasing one of his old shows through bandcamp.

The first benefit gig is on the 17th of Feb and is in aid of the Neuro Foundation with Tony Law, Sofie Hagen, Elis James, John Robins, Tom Rosenthal and Phil Wang. Tickets here.

The second gig is on the 27th of Feb and is in aid of Help Refugees with Stewart Lee, Bridget Christie, Sofie Hagen, Nish Kumar and various others.  Tickets here.

Kitson's 2008 show The Impotent Fury Of The Privileged is now available on Bandcamp. He says in his latest newsletter that it is "about the need for compassion in a saddening world." It was recorded at Regents Park Open Air Theatre. It costs £5 and all the money made will go to Crisis and Age UK.

You can get it here.

Kitson is also currently doing try-out gigs at the Bill Murray in Islington so hopefully there will be a new stand-up show later this year.
