David O'Doherty is setting out on his largest-ever tour. His Big Time trek starts in Dublin on January 5 and end on April 30 in Perth, Australia.
The Irish comic was nominated for the Best Show Award at the Adelaide Fringe and Melbourne International Comedy Festival, spent the summer on tour around America with Flight of the Conchords, and released his third children’s book with illustrator Chris Judge, entitled Danger Really Is Everywhere.
If you care to go back a bit further he was the recipient of the 2008 Edinburgh Comedy Award (formerly The Perrier Award) at The Edinburgh Fringe. Since then he has toured the world, performing his unique style of stand-up/sit-down comedy. He has appeared on TV shows such as QI, 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown and on Late Night with Conan O'Brien in the US.
