Josh Widdicombe is among the celebrities taking part in a revival of cult game show The Crystal Maze.

Hosted by Stephen Merchant and filmed at The Crystal Maze Experience in London, the one-off special will see five celebrities take on the Aztec, Medieval, Futuristic and Industrial zones before sending them in to face the fans in the iconic Crystal Dome.

Widdicombe is joined  by football legend Rio Ferdinand, acclaimed actress Michelle Keegan, Paralympics champ Jonnie Peacock and radio host Sara Cox.

The Crystal Maze special, sponsored by BT, will form part of a wider season of Stand Up To Cancer (SU2C) programming on Channel 4, including the four-part celebrity series of The Island with Bear Grylls, sponsored by Scottish Power. Stand Up To Cancer is a joint national fundraising campaign from Cancer Research UK and Channel 4.
