News: S'Pun Cycle – Wordplay Man's Gig Cancelled Due To Bike Incident

Update: The X Ray results are in. It's a fracture. The show is back on from tonight, Wednesday August 10, with the aid of a hands free mic.

Rising star of the one-liner scene Darren Walsh had to cancel his latest show S'Pun at the Pleasance Courtyard on Monday night due to injuring his arm by falling off his bike.

Walsh had to go to hospital with a suspected fracture and is currently waiting for an X Ray and the results. When the situation is clearer we will announce when his show is back on again.

He explained what happened on Twitter: "Sorry tonight's gig is cancelled due to me being an idiot & falling off my bike. If you bought a ticket please see reception."

The former animator won the inaugural UK Pun Championships in 2013 and won the Dave Joke Of The Fringe last year with the gag: “I just deleted all the German names off my phone. It’s Hans free.”
