The latest film from New Zealand director Taika Waititi has won a prestigious prize at the Edinburgh International Film Festival.
Hunt for the Wilderpeople picked up the EIFF Audience Award at the closing gala last night. Waititi was the co-star and co-director of vampire spoof What We Do In The Shadows. A sequel is currently in the pipeline.
Hunt for the Wilderpeople is a comedy adventure movie starring Sam Neill and Julian Dennison. Comedian Rhys Darby has a cameo in it as a character called Psycho Sam.
