6. What do your parents/children (delete as applicable) think of your job?

They're all very supportive and lovely.

7. What’s the worst thing about being a comedian?

Dying on stage. Having an old lady respond to your set with the words, "why don't you go away and die?" Genuinely.

8. I think you are very good at what you do (that’s why I’m asking these questions). What do you think of you?

A lot less complimentary. My biggest indulgence is self-criticism. It is lame and pointless and actually takes a lot of time and effort and I'm very good at it.

9. How much do you earn and how much would you like to earn?

Put it this way - my TV didn't buy itself. So. Not doing badly. On the other hand, yes, sling a few adverts my way, fate.

10. How important is luck in terms of career success – have you had lucky breaks?

So many. It's largely luck. Who you get to work with, if things get picked up, if people like them. But I do work hard, so in the dead of night I can whisper to myself, 'YOU. ARE. THE. BEST.'

Final Note from BTJ editor. I'll just say that again, Together is on BBC3 on Tuesdays at 10.30pm. Watch it.
