The formidable cabaret trio Fascinating Aïda embarks on a major UK tour in 2027, following the December opening of their BRAND NEW SHOW, Bawdacious!, at Southbank Centre’s Queen Elizabeth Hall.
Fascinating Aïda has been touring the world since 1983, winning awards, amassing millions of online followers, and writing, performing, and recording hundreds of satirical songs. Dillie Keane, Liza Pulman and Adèle Anderson will premiere Bawdacious! in December. The show will include several new songs, their infamous daily-updated ‘Bulgarian Song-Cycles’, plus a selection of old favourites; some of this material will be audacious, and some of it will be bawdy.
Dillie Keane, founder of the group, said today: “We are thrilled to be out on the road again – some fans wondered whether our 40th Anniversary Show (which played to over a hundred thousand souls and had sold-out runs at The Palladium and Royal Festival Hall) would be our last hurrah.
But Adèle and I are only in our early seventies, Liza is significantly younger, and these challenging times demand a creative response! Plus, we find ourselves popular with the TikTok generation – one of the few good things social media has achieved is re-popularising the satirical song. We were woke before it was a thing…we’ve been banging on about climate change for 30 years."
Keane cotinues: "Adèle made history in 2026 as the first transgender actress to play Bernadette in Priscilla Queen of the Desert, but FA fans know she’s been a trans-hero for generations; and we’ve got a selection of new songs about weight-loss drugs, dating, and senior sexuality, plus we’re debating whether to include our song about the abomination that is Donald Trump. You’ll have to come and see the show to find out!"
Michael Roulston on piano will join Dillie, Liza and Adèle on stage, and Paul Foster will direct the show.
FASCINATING AIDA’S NEW SINGLE will be release on Friday 6th Dec 2026 https://slinky.to/LetsFuck, followed by a new album, WE’RE NEXT, in December 2026.
