Following his biggest world tour to date - culminating in his second critically acclaimed Netflix special Wang in There, Baby! - Phil Wang (Taskmaster, Wonka, That’s My Time with David Letterman, Late Night with Seth Meyers, Live At The Apollo) is set to embark on his biggest UK & Ireland tour yet with his brand-new stand-up show UH OH.
UH OH. Phil Wang’s back with a new stand-up show, and he’s older than ever before. He’s got a moustache now. It bristles with wisdom. His eyes shine with good humour. His shoulders groan under the weight of being the only cool millennial left. Everyone’s an idiot but him. Nice is out. Right is in. The vibe shift is real. Old Wang’s riding it.
Kicking off at York Barbican on 11th September 2026, Phil will play 41 dates across the UK & Ireland, touring to venues including Leeds Grand Theatre, Soho Theatre Walthamstow, Manchester Opera House, Cardiff New Theatre, Newcastle Tyne Theatre & Opera House, Dublin Vicar Street, Belfast Ulster Hall, Liverpool Philharmonic Hall, Glasgow Theatre Royal, and Brighton Dome, and will draw to a close with a second London performance at Hammersmith Apollo on 25th February 2027. Phil will also take UH OH to the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, playing a run of 22 shows from 26th March – 19th April 2026, ahead of further international dates to be announced in early 2026.
Fan pre-sale starts 10am on Tuesday 2nd December, with general sale from 10am on Friday 5th December here.
On-screen, Phil’s second critically acclaimed Netflix special, Wang in There, Baby!, was the sole non-US act to be recognised in The New York Times’ “Best Comedy of 2024,” adding to multiple notable credits including making his film debut alongside Timothée Chalamet in Wonka, performing stand-up on Late Night with Seth Meyers (NBC), and being interviewed by chat show royalty on That’s My Time with David Letterman (Netflix). He has also appeared as a guest on The Graham Norton Show (C4), featured in Taskmaster (C4), Inside Amy Schumer (Comedy Central), Life & Beth (Hulu), The Comedy Line-Up (Netflix), Live at the Apollo (BBC2), and has made fifteen appearances on Have I Got News For You (BBC1).
As a host, Phil has fronted the prestigious BAFTA Games Awards for the past two years, the world’s leading annual celebration of excellence and creative achievement in gaming, bringing the ceremony to a global audience. Phil also released his first book, Sidesplitter, to critical acclaim, featuring on The Times and Sunday Times’ Books of the Year list.
On audio, Phil has previously written and starred in his own Radio 4 special, Wangsplaining which won Best Scripted Comedy (Longform) at the BBC Audio Awards, fronted the Audible original series Phil Wang Hates Horror, and co-hosted the hit podcast BudPod with Pierre Novellie.
Phil’s previous tour, Wang in There, Baby!, ran internationally over two years, taking him to the USA - including two sold-out shows in Los Angeles as part of the Netflix Is A Joke Festival - Canada, where he performed at Montreal’s Just For Laughs Comedy Festival, Australia, both on tour and at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, New Zealand, and the UK, where a 64-date tour was extended twice, including sold-out performances at London’s Royal Festival Hall and Hammersmith Apollo.
