One of the guests on Michael McIntyre's The Wheel this week is comedian Harriet Kemsley (pictured far right), who is very much on a roll career-wise at the moment. Her profile has been rising with appearances on a number of notable TV shows.
You might have seen the skilful stand-up on the first season of Last One Laughing UK on Amazon Prime, where she did her best to stifle her giggles but was knocked out.
And talking of knock outs, Kemsley was one of the comedians who took part in the fantastic Clash of the Comics wrestling show at the Eventim Apollo in Hammersmith last month. An edited version of the show is set to air on U and U&Dave later this month. She appeared in the ring alongside Edinburgh Comedy Award winner Amy Gledhill. They both also front the podcast Single Ladies In Your Area with Amy Gledhill and Harriet Kemsley - Kemsley was previously married to American comedian Bobby Mair.
She is also a guest on the new YouTube chat show Sip Happens, in which celebrities chat to host Jake Lambert over a cup of tea.
Kemsley is always an entertaining guest, happy to say the things that others might self-edit. She has also popped up on Richard Osman's House of Games, Iain Stirling’s Roast The Internet, Hypothetical, 8 Out of 10 Cats, 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown, Celebability, Guessable, This is MY House & The Now Show and was a stand-out stand-up on The Jonathan Ross Show.
The other contestants on this episode of Michael McIntyre's The Wheel include fellow comedian and Last Leg and Parenting Hell star Josh Widdicombe (who can currently be seen on tour with his show, Not My Cup Of Tea, Chris Harris, Colin Jackson, Shirley Ballas and Frankie Bridge. Jordan North and William Hanson are in the double chair.
