BFI To Celebrate Life And Work Of Terry Jones

BFI To Celebrate Life Of Python And Much More Terry Jones

The BFI is to celebrate the life of comedian Terry Jones with a special event mixing clips and interviews entitled Terry Jones: The Renaissance Man.

The event, taking place in London this Saturday. November 1 at 3pm, will feature guests including Michael Palin, Carol Cleveland, Robert Ross, Terry’s daughter Sally Jones and Sanjeev Bhaskar. Writer Robert Ross has just written an authorised biography, Seriously Silly: The Life of Terry Jones.

It is five years since Jones died and this will be an opportunity to look back at Terry’s career as director, writer, historian, performer and presenter, with memorable and rare clips (including some from his own archive), and contributions from his friends, family and colleagues.

It will last 100 minutes and signed copies of Seriously Silly: The Life of Terry Jones by Robert Ross will be available to buy from the BFI shop.

There will be live captions and a BSL interpreter.

Tickets £17, concessions £14 (Members pay £2.50 less).
