Jason Manford has been confirmed as the guest host for episode five of the current series of Have I Got News For You.
Comedian Laura Smyth will appear on the show for the first time, as well as Labour MP Louise Haigh.
Smyth – the brutally honest, blisteringly funny, working class voice from East London – has recently announced a brand-new national tour. Off the back of her critically acclaimed debut Living My Best Life, Laura is hitting the road again in 2026 with ‘Born Aggy’.
The episode will be available from 9pm on Friday 31st October, on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
