Character comedian, drag king and voice of C4’s ‘First Dates’, Daisy Doris May is heading out on her debut tour this autumn, as (for the first time!) she brings together all three of her iconic characters Steve Porters, The Divine Karen Moonstone and Häns Off into one new show, BIG NIGHT OUT.
The tour announcement comes as Daisy launches the show at this year’s Edinburgh Festival Fringe, playing at Assembly George Square (Underground), every night at 9.50pm until Sunday 24th August 2025 (no performance Tues 12th Aug).
After tour support slots with Hannah Gadsby and over 30 million+ views across TikTok and Instagram, the rising comedy star will take ‘BIG NIGHT OUT’ on tour across the UK this autumn, for 9 shows from Friday 3rd October – Wednesday 5th November 2025, including a three-night run at London’s Underbelly Boulevard in Soho (16th - 18th Oct).
Having previously performed solo shows just as Steve Porters, BIG NIGHT OUT is a debut for Daisy Doris May’s broader character comedy repertoire, and is the first time she has taken on the challenge of performing all three of her iconic characters in one show.
Meet May’s three characters below - flawed Guildfordian ladies’ man Steve Porters, self-appointed guru and meditation master Karen Moonstone, and Berlin Klubkid Häns Off.
On taking the three characters on tour for the first time, May said: “Could not be more excited for my first ever UK tour… Karen Moonstone will bring her sage (and secret supply of biltong.) HÄNS OFF will be bringing ze aloe Vera to microdose & his separate tour bus to play ze TechNo / TechYes & Steve Porters will just be bringing his mum Rozza, for emotional support. Edinburgh Fringe has been WILD so far and putting all three alter egos in one hour has been a very fun ride.”

Daisy Doris May is a drag king, writer and performer known for her bold character-driven comedy storytelling, rooted in queerness and identity.
As Steve Porters, she has received five-star reviews for two solo shows at the Edinburgh Fringe (‘How To Flirt: The TED XXX Talk’ and ‘How To Mate: The TED XXX Talk’), going on to perform at the Soho Theatre, tour supporting Hannah Gadsby at the London Palladium and taking shows to the Adelaide Fringe and Melbourne Comedy Festival. Daisy is currently developing the sitcom ‘Steve Porters, Lock Up Ur Daughters’ with SISTER and South of the River.
As Häns Off, Daisy was the winner of MAN UP in 2022, the largest drag king competition in Europe, and was the first drag KING artist for MAC Cosmetics’ Viva Glam campaign.
As Karen Moonstone, Daisy went viral after asking a stranger to film her doing yoga on a Jet2 plane back from Ibiza. The video has had over 25 million views and got reported on in the New York Post.
At the recent 2025 Adelaide Fringe, Daisy was nominated for Best Comedy. She was a finalist at the 2025 Bristol Comedy Festival, and a runner up in the 2023 Screenshot competition. She holds residences at The Box with her cabaret collective, Häus of Dons.
Her acting screen credits include Sex Education (Netflix), Professor T (ITV), Downton Abbey (ITV), Genius (National Geographic) and The Last Kingdom (Netflix). She is also the voice of the popular C4 show First Dates.

Guildfordian Steve Porters (Lock up UR Daughters) is a self-taught feminist on a mission to become the greatest iPod DJ out of Surrey.
Despite thinking he is an ultimate ladies’ man, it's unsure to where Steve has gone beyond the 'third base'.
Despite all of his flaws, Steve is always listenin'... learnin'... and lovin'
THE DIVINE KAREN MOONSTONE
The Divine Karen Moonstone operates on a different frequency.
She is a free spirit, after losing her job after assaulting her boss at the yoga studio.
This self-appointed guru believes in all vibrations, especially her own.
She has rejected mainstream ideas such as medicine, vaccines and accountability.
HÄNS OFF
KlubKid HÄNS OFF was born in ze cloakroom queue of superklub Berghain, Berlin.
Ze V.V.V.I.P listens to minimal HAUS muzik. (So minimal… it's not even there. Ze silence. It’s crazy.)
