Adam Buxton Releass Second Single And Video

Comedian Adam Buxton has released ‘Doing It Wrong’ – the second single from his debut album ‘Buckle Up’, set for vinyl and digital release via Decca Records on Friday 12th September 2025.

You can listen to Buxton’s new single ‘Doing It Wrong’ here - pre-order the album on vinyl and pre-save it on streaming services here

An accompanying music video for the single has also been released, co-directed by James Hankins, Jordan Martin and Chris Wright – watch here.

Doing It Wrong – like much of the album - was produced by Metronomy’s Joe Mount. Having started out as a theme for one of his previous Radio 4 shows about people’s differing perspectives on how to live their lives, Buxton and Mount built on and expanded it into the David Byrne-adjacent track, which sees him grappling with the reality that we’re all trying to do the things which we think are right in the world, but how one way or another, someone is out there saying ‘nope…. you shouldn’t be doing that’.

There will be an album launch event at London’s Rough Trade East on Wednesday 17th September. Tickets available here.

“You're doing your job

(But you're doing it wrong)

You're eating food

(But you're doing it wrong)

You're bringing up children

(Really wrong)

You're living your life

But you're doing it wrong”
