Filming Starts On New Series Of Dinosaur

Filming is officially underway in Glasgow and casting has been revealed on the new series of RTS and BAFTA Award-Winning BBC and Hulu hit comedy, Dinosaur.

Made by Two Brothers Pictures (Fleabag, The Tourist) in association with All3Media International, the series is created by Matilda Curtis and Ashley Storrie and centres on Nina (Ashley Storrie), an autistic woman in her 30’s, navigating life with fierce humour and honesty.

Following the success of its debut season, the heartfelt series will see the return of the original cast alongside Ashley, including Kat Ronney, David Carlyle, Lorn Macdonald, Danny Ashok, Sally Howitt, Greg Hemphill, Sabrina Sandhu, Ben Rufus Green, Jim Kitson and Martine Brown.

Joining the Dinosaur world for series two is a fresh new love interest for Nina, played by Hyoie O'Grady (Stay Close, Sherlock & Daughter). This new arrival promises to shake things up and bring even more laughs – and surprises – to Nina’s already eventful world.

The critically acclaimed first series of Dinosaur won widespread praise for its authentic representation and innovative humour, winning Best Scripted Comedy at the 2024 RTS Scotland Awards and the Writer TV/Film Award and Audience Award at the 2024 Scottish BAFTAs. The series is also nominated for a number of other awards including, Best Comedy Programme at the 2025 Broadcast Digital Awards and Comedy Series: English Language at the 2025 Banff Rockie Awards.
