Award Winning Producer Launches Full Edinburgh Fringe Roster

Award-winning live comedy producers Berk’s Nest have announced their full programme for the Edinburgh Fringe this summer. This year, the company - which over the last decade has produced the likes of Richard Gadd, Sophie Duker, Rose Matafeo and Jack Rooke - will return with some of the most exciting, original and acclaimed comic voices working today. Tickets for all shows are on sale now at berksnest.com/edinburg-fringe

From 29th July - 24th August, the producing powerhouse will stage thirteen shows across a range of comedy genres, with a roster featuring international comedy-cabaret superstar Cat Cohen, Channel 4’s Jordan Gray, four-time Edinburgh Comedy Award nominee Kieran Hodgson and Ted Lasso and Taskmaster star Nick Mohammed.

Over at the Pleasance: Edinburgh Comedy Award winner & Netflix star Cat Cohen premieres a brand new show Broad Strokes; one of the Telegraph’s 50 Funniest Comedians of the 21st Century Kieran Hodgson stakes his claim as the Voice of America;  fast-rising comedian Ayoade Bamgboye (fresh from writing and starring in her own A24-produced Channel 4 Playground) makes her highly anticipated festival debut with Swings and Roundabouts; New York-based cult sketch comedy favourites Simple Town perform at the festival for the very first time; and Ghosts & Taskmaster star Kiell Smith-Bynoe brings his smash-hit improv show Kool Story Bro (featuring stories from you, the audience!) back for the third year running.

At Monkey Barrel: Edinburgh Comedy Award nominee & Melbourne Best Show winner Zoë Coombs Marr will be taking audiences into The Splash Zone; Liam Withnail - one of the best-reviewed stand-ups of 2023 (for his show Chronic Boom) - returns with blisteringly funny and deeply personal stand-up in Big Strong Boy; Celya AB, “one of the most gifted joke writers of our age” (Chortle) follows up this year’s sold-out tour with an hour of fresh work-in-progress material; and 2024 Best Show nominee Josh Glanc brings his highly acclaimed show Family Man back for a final outing.

At Assembly, three wild years since her last Fringe, a BAFTA nomination, an upcoming ITV sitcom, and a show at the London Palladium, Jordan Gray is back with her new show Is That A C*ck In Your Pocket, Or Are You Just Here To Kill Me?; Taskmaster New Zealand co-host Paul Williams is back with a new hour of stand-up and killer musical comedy in Don’t Look At Me; and for one night only Paul will be taking to the stage as to play the best of his music albums in Paul Williams Plays The Hits, a late-night gig featuring some very special guests.

And over at the legendary Edinburgh Playhouse, Nick Mohammed - star of Taskmaster, Ted Lasso, 8 Out Of 10 Cats Does Countdown and so much more - returns to the Fringe and where it all started for his alter-ego Mr. Swallow, bringing his hugely anticipated new tour Show Pony to Edinburgh for one night only.

This summer marks Berk’s Nest’s twelfth year at the Edinburgh Fringe, with over a decade spent producing critically acclaimed, innovative and ambitious (not to mention hilarious) shows with some of the most exciting comedic talent in the UK and abroad. Those on sale today join a list of over a hundred unmissable shows that Berk’s Nest has produced at the festival and on tour across the UK, including many that have gone on to be released as specials for the likes of Prime Video, HBO Max, the BBC, and Netflix.
