Following rave reviews and a second consecutive sell-out run at this year’s Edinburgh Festival Fringe, 2023 Edinburgh Comedy Award Best Newcomer nominee Dan Tiernan is taking his latest Edinburgh hour ‘STOMP’ out on a UK tour.
Ahead of a Christmas special Live At The Apollo appearance this December, the ‘Mancunian wild man’ (Guardian) will be unleashing his trademark high-energy chaos on venues across the UK from February-March 2025, starting with the first of two special homecoming shows in Manchester on Tuesday 3rd December 2024.
After three nights at Soho Theatre in September hot on the heels of his hit Edinburgh Fringe run, he is also set to return to the London venue for a further three shows from 10th - 12th February 2025.
On taking ‘Stomp’ out on a UK tour, Dan said: “I'm really proud of my second stand-up hour 'Stomp' and I had a blast doing it every night at the Fringe. Touring my own show was always the dream when I started comedy, so I can't wait to take the show to all my favourite venues in the UK."

‘Stomp’ follows Tiernan’s debut Edinburgh Fringe hour in 2023, ‘Going Under’, which won him a Best Newcomer nomination at the 2023 Edinburgh Comedy Awards.
Having already scooped wins for BBC New Comedian Of The Year (2022) and British Comedian Of The Year (2022), the show also saw Tiernan win Best Newcomer at the ISH Comedy Awards (2023). Tiernan filmed the show as his first comedy special, set for release soon with 800 Pound Gorilla, titled ‘Full of Beans’.
