This year’s St Albans Comedy Garden stars the iconic HARRY HILL, everyone’s favourite randomist ROSS NOBLE, national treasure (or in her words ‘national disgrace’) JO BRAND, idiosyncratic star SIMON AMSTELL (pictured), the inimitable DARA Ó BRIAIN, Scotland’s queen of comedy FERN BRADY and ‘The Last Leg’s’ JOSH WIDDICOMBE plus many more incredible acts performing in a beautiful Big Top!
The launch marks the fourth location for the Comedy Garden series, landing this summer first in Bristol (12-16th June) followed by Brighton (3-7th July), a brand-new event in Cambridge (17th-21st July) before rounding off with this astounding series of shows in St Albans (24th-28th July).
“We’re on a roll,” says Cass Randolph, co-founder of 57 Festivals, the team behind this blossoming comedy festival consortium. “People all over the country seem to love what we do, bringing together the best comedians of the moment in a fun festival setting, with street food and bars and a great summer atmosphere.”
The newest addition to their fast-growing crop of festivals is Cambridge Comedy Garden landing in Parker’s Piece from July 17th to 21st. Across the five nights a series of multi-bill shows starring a compilation of the biggest comedians of the moment like JOSH WIDDICOMBE, SARA PASCOE, SIMON AMSTELL, DYLAN MORAN and many more, will be entertaining thousands of comedy-lovers from near and far.
