Leo Reich Appears On Jonathan Ross Show

Jonathan Ross Show Guests This Week

Rising star Leo Reich is one of the guests on The Jonathan Ross Show this week. He is joined by star of Ghostbusters, Ant-Man and Anchorman Paul Rudd, Scary Spice Mel B, BAFTA nominated star of I Hate Suzie and Doctor Who Billie Piper (also the star of forthcoming Prince Andrew interview drama Scoop), and the multi-platinum selling Cat Burns, who will be performing in the studio.

Reich has been making waves since he was nominated for Edinburgh Comedy Awards Best Newcomer in 2022.

In December his stand up show was broadcast on Sky. In Reich’s first special, Literally Who Cares?, this self-diagnosed ‘important young mind’ faces the swirling uncertainty of our collective future, asking the big questions, such as: “Is this helping?", “Am I hot?”, and "No offense guys, but literally what is going on?" Treading the line between hilarious stand-up and humourless performance art, Leo Reich: Literally Who Cares?! blended songs, anecdotes, and anxious non-sequiturs in a valiant attempt to raise awareness about important social and political causes… or something.

He was also nominated for a The Times Breakthrough Award at the South Bank Sky Arts Awards last year.

Reich seems to be satirising the life of young people today, but he is determined not to take things too seriouskly. He denies any satirical intent with his act: “Not even a single fibre of my being thinks that what I’m doing is important on any level,” he told the Guardian.

Reich has recently been filming a role alongside Megan Stalter and Will Sharpe in the Netflix romacom series Too Much from Girls creator Lena Dunham and husband Luis Felber. The show follows Jessica (Stalter), a New York workaholic in her mid-30s who is slowly isolating from everyone she knows and moves to London.

And, most importantly, in January this year he won Richard Osman's House of Games.
