Ryan Taylor, Head of Comedy at Pleasance, comments: The Pleasance has had the pleasure of hosting Gala for World AIDS Day for 6 years. This highlight in our comedy calendar is a superb night of entertainment, giving us the chance to raise money for a very important charity with help from some of the best comics in the country.”

Since it began in 2018, Gala for World AIDS Day has gone from strength to strength, becoming a sell-out event and must-see fixture of the British comedy calendar, while raising over £15,000 for the National AIDS Trust in the process.

The National AIDS Trust is the UK’s HIV rights charity, working tirelessly to prevent HIV from standing in the way of health, dignity, and equality, and campaigning to end HIV stigma and stop new transmissions by 2030.

Previous Gala for World AIDS Day line-ups have featured some of the UK’s most exciting and best-loved comedians including James Acaster, Brett Goldstein, Joe Lycett, Lolly Adefope, Sara Pascoe, Mawaan Rizwan, Phil Wang, Mae Martin, Catherine Cohen, The Pin, Meg Stalter, Chloe Petts, Ania Magliano, The Delightful Sausage, Leo Reich, Kemah Bob, and many others.
