Abdi K Aden tweeted: "Sad to hear today Cal Wilson comedian and actor’s death at the age of 53. I was very lucky to work with Cal on Libraries changes lives project. Following I would see Cal @ basketball stadiums around Melbourne. She was amazingly talented artist and so kind. #librarieschangelives"
Jemaine Clement posted this tribute and linked to a song his duo Flight of the Conchords wrote. You can watch the clip below: "I'm heartbroken to hear about the loss of Cal Wilson. We worked together on my first job as a tv writer. She was as energetic and sweet as she seemed on TV, always taking time to compliment other writers and give advice to new ones (like me). FotC (hurriedly) wrote a little song with Cal that we perform with her at the end of this video. This is some time travel to the noughts. Will miss you, Cal."
