UK Debut For Brad Upton

American stand-up Brad Upton - Dry Bar Comedy’s most popular comedian - is bringing his show to London for the first time ever, playing the Museum of Comedy on 29 August.

Known for his clean and everyday wholesome comedy, Upton first started to perform in the USA in 1986 whilst teaching the fourth grade and coaching high school track in Pasco, WA. He quickly decided that he wanted to do stand-up instead, so he quit teaching later that year and has never looked back.

His 38-year career he seen him tour with the likes of the legendary Joan Rivers and for 15 years he has been the opening act for Johnny Mathis.  But it was in 2017 that he started to get noticed worldwide when he recorded a special for a new comedy platform called Dry Bar Comedy.  His set about millennials went viral and launched him into the stratosphere, with more than 12 million views in the first 48 hours and 33 million in 10 days.  It also sent his CD went to number one on the iTunes chart and Upton started trending on Twitter.

Today he has two very successful Dry Bar Comedy Specials under his belt, over 250 million views, and a worldwide loyal fan base that is ever-growing.

Brad Upton said: “I’ve been continually begged by Brits asking me to perform in the UK— now the time has come!”

With his British fans longing for years for Upton to play a gig in the UK, this will surely be a night to remember and one not to be missed!

Dry Bar Comedy Specials are part of Angel Studios that cater to all the family, with no bawdy and over-the-line jokes. Founded by the Harmon Brothers, they wanted to create a clean comedy club that didn’t serve alcohol and only spotlighted comedians that kept it fun for people of all ages and backgrounds. Now with a physical club in Utah and over two billion views, Dry Bar Comedy boasts a huge online presence.
