Edinburgh Comedy Awards 2019 Best Newcomer nominee Helen Bauer’s first ever stand-up special of her critically-acclaimed debut show ‘Little Miss Baby Angel Face’ is set to be released on 13th June 2023. Produced and distributed by 800 Pound Gorilla Media, the special will initially be available to watch on their website, followed by a wider release on YouTube and other on demand platforms from 13th July.

Helen Bauer enjoys a drama. She's her mother's daughter, taking a small situation, blowing it up, then getting upset that it's out of her control. Just like all the best reality TV. At the same time, she dreams of being a sweet angel handling any drama with grace. Who doesn't overthink everything and plan for how she will have all eyes on her at the right moment.

Fresh from her first tour across the UK and Australia she is known for being a comedy powerhouse with an electric stage presence. Helen (proudly basic and self-proclaimed Disney Adult) is firmly one of the UK’s most exciting stand-up stars. TV appearances include Live At The Apollo (BBC2), Late Night Mash (Dave), As Yet Untitled (ITV2),  and Hypothetical (Dave). You’ll also find her as the Host of Bauer’s Bar (Dave).

In August 2019, her debut show was nominated for the Best Newcomer Award, followed by a transfer to Soho Theatre in February 2020. Helen co-hosts the podcast ‘Trusty Hogs’ with fellow comedian Catherine Bohart, gaining over 10k downloads per episode.
