Viewers Decide Ant And Dec's Pregnancy Prank In Bad Taste

Award-winning duo Ant and Dec have faced a wave criticism for their prank on their latest Saturday Night Takeaway Show which involved an expectant dad being tricked.

Among the tricks the dad Liam was encouraged to do strange NCT classes and breathing lessons and was shown a scan in which his unborn baby was dancing.

Angie Reeves tweeted: "Let's take a first-time dad-to-be and make him look stupid. This is not funny. #SaturdayNightTakeaway"

Marima tweeted: "this prank aint funny in the slightest he literally thinks thats his baby and the whole thing is fake? literally weird and cruel tbh #SaturdayNightTakeaway"

Lauren tweeted: "This is not funny, quite mean actually #SaturdayNightTakeaway"

Alice March tweeted: "@itvtakeaway This prank is to far! So people would dream to see there unborn child or have lost there baby or had a miscarriage. #SaturdayNightTakeaway This could trigger so many people tonight. Child birth and having a baby is not a joke!"

Scott tweeted: "Too far with this "prank" @antanddec pretty disgusting actually the way you've messed with this first time father and his experience"

danny Ainscough echoed a number of commentsd writing: "Be couples sat at home who's had heartbreak of losing a child in pregnancy why these 2 clowns think it's funny having a fake dancing baby in a scan. Stupidest thing I've ever seen in me life n bad taste n all #SaturdayNightTakeaway"

Chloe Marie agreed: "Am I the only one who finds pranking an expectant parents 4g scan or anything to do with pregnancy, extremely inappropriate? I am all for a laugh but not at this expense. What if things had gone the other way? Not cool. #SaturdayNightTakeaway #antanddec"

At the end Ant and Dec revealed that they were going to put £1000 in the child's savings account every year until their eighteenth birthday.
