The 2023 Komedia New Comedy Award Final has taken place in Brighton. And the winner of the award, in association with COMIC BOOM Comedy Club and Victoria Nangle is.... Sam Williams.

 

Congratulations also to Runners Up Daman Bamrah, Jack Skipper and Shalaka Kurup.

 

The judges were Steve Bennett (Chortle), Lulu Baker (BBC Studios (Comedy)) Tasha Dhanraj (Award-Winning Comedy Writer) as well as MC for the evening Barry Ferns and Headliner (2020's Winner) Michael Akadiri .

 

The other finalists were Romina Puma, Osman Shibli, Sarah Roberts, Elaine Fellows and Kate Barella.
