New Comedy Walking Tour Podcast Launched

Comedian, writer, actor Sam Fletcher (Ted Lasso, Dreamland) launches his new podcast ‘The Comedy Walking Tour’ on Sunday 31st July, with the release of the first episode with Gráinne Maguire. The Comedy Walking Tour is an immersive audio guide mixed with a silly interview. Sam is your guide and each episode he goes on an enjoyable walk ’n’ talk to an interesting place chosen by the guest.

Comedian and history fanatic Gráinne Maguire (The Now Show) takes Sam on a journey through the ages at the Museum of London. Amongst the exhibits they also discuss subjects such as: big foreheads, dollhouses and victorian biscuits. In the second episode Sam joins Camden Local Bec Hill (8 out of 10 Cats Does Countdown) down Regent’s Canal. Along the way they discuss ASMR, posh houses and ‘bin chickens’. Further guests include William Andrews, Holly Burn, Annie McGrath, Rob Auton and Nick Helm

Sam explains why he started the podcast: “I started this podcast for three reasons - to go out more, to meet up with fun people and obviously to crack the famously oversaturated ‘location-based, factual-yet-entertaining audio-adventure- interview (that sometimes visits an airport)’ podcast genre. Fingers crossed!”

Producers Turtle Canyon Comedy release the podcast through Global and have lined up 12 episodes for the first series.

Sam Fletcher has appeared in Ted Lasso, Dreamland, Shameless, written for The Amazing World of Gumball and was nominated for Best Newcomer at The Edinburgh Fringe.
