Sarah Millican will be marking the release of her new live DVD Home Bird Live with a signing at HMV Newcastle. The event will take place at 5pm on Tuesday, November 18 and will be the only signing to accompany the release.

The UK’s biggest selling female comedian's third stand-up DVD was filmed in front of her home crowd at Newcastle Tyne Theatre, Home Bird Live features all new material from her sell-out tour, which saw her play over 140 shows to a combined audience of over 200,000. Sarah talks about settling down (taking her bra off) and putting down roots and how she now has cats (furry babies) and even a tree (she has a lot of mugs).

Home Bird Live also includes advice on what to take on a dirty weekend, the correct number of meals to have in a day and how to teach a pensioner to swear. The Mirror wrote of her live show “Sarah Millican is never less than belly-laugh hilarious” while The Guardian described Sarah as "an iron fist in a marigold glove".

Since winning the 2008 if.Comedy Best Newcomer Award for her debut solo show Sarah Millican’s Not Nice at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Sarah has firmly established herself as a household name. She has appeared at The Royal Variety Performance and released two live DVDs –the first of which was the biggest selling stand-up DVD by a female comedian of all time.

She has received eight nominations for The British Comedy Awards who crowned her The People’s Choice: Queen of Comedy’ in 2011. There have been three series of The Sarah Millican Television Programme on BBC2, earning her BAFTA nominations for Best Entertainment Performance in 2013 & 2014. She is currently preparing for her fourth national tour.
