The Last Leg Returns – This Week's Guests

Watch Suella Braverman Get Pranked On The Last Leg

A new run of The Last Leg starts this Friday with Adam Hills, Alex Brooker and Josh Widdicombe taking their usual sideways looks at topical stories hitting the headlines.

There are a few changes this time round though – we are promised new opening credits so make sure you tune in for the start. Personally I will miss the trio looking like they are about to be toasted by a big fiery explosion.

Sorry for the same old press shot - because Adam Hills is in Australia a lot of the time it has been hard to get them together for a proper new photoshoot.

But there will also be a new set for them to be all nice and comfortable in.

Fans will be delighted to hear that some of their favourite parts of the show will remain. #isitok for example will be responding to viewers suggestions that they can tweet in using the aforementioned hashtag.

And there will be two new guests this week. They are the former host of The Mash Report, Nish Kumar, who is just setting out on a big tour called Your Power, Your Control, which received enthusisastic reviews when it opened at the Soho Theatre earlier this week.

Plus Sandi Toksvig, who may well be paying tribute to the late, great Barry Cryer who died this week and worked many times with Toksvig on various comedy shows. Toksvig said of Cryer, who died aged 86 and had only just launched a new podcast: "Barry Cryer was the only man I ever regularly offered to run away with. I loved him beyond all measure. He was, of course, hilarious, but he was also unbelievably kind.”

Toksvig is due to return to C4 in her own right in a new series of Extraordinary Escapes with Sandi Toksvig in February.

The ex-Great British Bake Off presenter will once again be traveling across the country to show viewers some of the most beautiful, wildest, and original bolt-holes.

The Last Leg, Channel 4, Fridays from January 28, 10pm.
