Liam Farrelly Wins Scottish Comedian of the Year

Liam Farrelly has become the latest winner of the Scottish Comedian of the Year title.

He won the final which took place at the Rotunda Comedy Club in Glasgow and was compered by Susie McCabe.

The trophy was handed over by the last winner Marc Jennings, who won in 2019 when the competition was last held. Farrelly was also a finalist that year.

Richard Pulsford came in in second place and third was Bee Babylons.
 
Farrelly has been having a particularly good run in comedy competitions recently.
 
In November he won this year's Frog and Bucket’s World Series Comedy Competition in Manchester.
 
He was also a finalist in the BBC New Comedy Awards in Newcastle.
