Sara Pascoe has revealed that she is pregnant.

She posted the news on Instagram alongside some pictures where she was performing and a bump can clearly be seen.

Pascoe wrote: "Love these pictures by @pushgilbey from last weekend’s gig @woolwichworks and felt a lot of feelings at seeing my bump so big and proud.

I’ve been shy about posting about my pregnancy, partly my own anxiety after losing one at the beginning of the year, but also awareness of what other people may be going through. There can be so much sadness felt alongside the happiness (and luck) of others. However I’m in the third trimester now and realised if I don’t post soon, you’ll see me with a buggy next year and think I stole a kid.

Also I conceived via IVF, so huge love and support to anyone going through it or thinking about it. I want you to get everything you deserve and hope you know how brave you are to go on this journey of the unknown ."

Sara Pascoe is married to comedian Steen Raskopoulos. In our house we call them Pascoe and Rasko. They got married before lockdown and he appeared in her BBC sitcom Out Of Her Mind as her brother.

She is also currently hosting Comedians Giving Lectures on Dave on Wednesdays at 9pm and on catch-up on UKTV Play.She said of the second series: "I think all of the comedians have really pushed themselves and understood what we were asking of them a bit more. You have a first series, and everyone thinks ‘oh I bet you just do your stand-up’, or ‘oh I see, maybe we’re making fun of Ted Talks’. This time it feels like people really understood and they definitely pushed the boundaries, so we’ve got some incredible lectures lined up. I also think there’s more education in there and a lot more laughs as well."
